Yates Rowe and his bride Sarah fell in love with a house they saw on their honeymoon in Denver.

They had a
photographer take pictures of the house and then they hired a Jacksonville
contractor to build to “duplicate” the home.
Interesting Notes:
-
Originally the
heating from the house came from the house of Mr. Rowe’s parents at
1152 W. State; the heat was piped through a tunnel by a water pump
controlled by a thermostat at the Sandusky house.

There is a fountain
surrounded by a goldfish pool to create a Spanish courtyard inside
the house.
