Illinois School for the Deaf

The Media Center maintains a large collection of state-of-the-art, assistive devices for ISD students and other Illinois residents to see and assess. This provides individuals, regardless of hearing status, with the chance to learn how new technology can be used to improve accessibility at home, work, in the community, or on the road. The ATC is an especially useful resource for businesses since they can review a variety of assistive devices which will promote accessibility in their facilities.
